The Animation Workshop, Viborg

Εducational Workshop & Seminar for children

In collaboration with The Animation Workshop Viborg, Creative Europe Desk Cyprus and Almyra Hotel, Pafos

The presentations will take place at  the Almyra Hotel, Pafos. This workshop aims to help towards developing knowledge about the process of researching, organizing and guiding creative animation workshops in both countries Cyprus and Denmark.

The workshop is planned to give children an opportunity to use those educational strategies that correspond to their age and are used in the animation production procedure so as to approach works of art from Cyprus as well as from Denmark. The workshop will assist students communicate through a wide range of visual messages and develop their creativity through the works of art as a vehicle to explore interpersonal relations, attitudes, values and beliefs. In this way, the children will be in a position to value the importance of art as a means to communicate messages and feelings.

DAY 1 - 24.6.17 

Module 1 - Class 12:00 – 13:00

Learn about artists (from both countries Cyprus and Denmark) and their artworks and aspects of them putting them in their cultural background.

Concert of the Spanish Ensemble Vigüela

The concert is the result of a collaboration between the Countryside Animafest Cyprus and the Cultural Festival of the University of Cyprus and is part of the Days of Spanish Culture organised with the kind support of the Embassy of Spain in Cyprus.

The Spanish traditional music ensemble Vigüela comes to Cyprus for the first time from the other end of the Mediterranean, specifically from Castilla-La Mancha, the home of Don Quixote, which is located at the heart of Spain.

The concert begins at 20:00
